What is demand bidding?
During Taipower's announced bidding hours, the factory runs on its battery storage to cut how much it draws from the grid, and bids the reduced load to earn a payment. The storage serves the plant on-site; it does not sell power back to the grid.
Can storage be installed together with solar?
Yes, and it is a common pairing. Solar serves your load by day, surplus charges the storage, and the storage discharges at night or during peaks to raise self-consumption.
Is storage safe?
Safety depends on battery chemistry, the battery management system, and fire protection design. We plan location, spacing, and fire equipment to fit your site, and use certified products.
